Very beautiful town in the south of Germany. Pretty much exactly what one thinks of when one uses the word "quaint"; they have some amazing bath houses which have been an attraction of the area since the damned Romans used them. I assume they've cleaned them since then. I would have taken some pictures there but apparently even Europeans have their limits, and the lady who sold us tickets was intimidating even when she was being nice. I shudder to think of her confronting me in only my skivvies (which raises the question of just how she got in my skivvies, amirite?) and demanding deletion of my lascivious photography.
Anyway, clearly the place was a dump; trash in the streets, crime rampant, babies sitting abandoned and wailing on every corner...
Actually, it made me feel like that's how America is by comparison. Seriously, the place was spotless.
